What's on offer in Term 3?

We continue to offer a huge range of courses, across our two sites at the Macbeth Centre and at Uxbridge Road.  So whether you are looking to return to  continue learning, or choosing to learn something new, we hope you will consider your local adult learning service to spend time learning something new, polish an existing skill or become part of a community.

New courses

Enrol on our summer programming which will start from Tuesday 22 April.

We have 25 brand new courses available inluding digital photography, hand stitching, short language courses and more.

We have programmed four new accredited course in upholstery, jewellery, stained glass and ceramics.  We are also offering free digital skills classes and cooking classes.

Brush up on your French, Italian and Spanish in preparation for the holidays with these short five-week language courses or learn the basics of British sign Language (BSL) in our new introductory courses.

Celebrating 150 years of education

This expansion of our curriculum comes as the Macbeth Centre celebrates its 150th anniversary of providing education in Hammersmith.

The landmark birthday will be marked with special events throughout the year, including an arts and crafts exhibition and a free open day.

The Macbeth Centre, which first opened its doors in 1875, has been at the heart of education in the borough for generations. Read more about its rich history.
