Free Saturday family craft workshops

These are one off workshops and the aim is to have fun and play.   Ideal for parents and carers with children aged 4-11.

Puppet Theatre Sessions

What will the course cover?

In the workshops, adults and their young ones will join in with games and activities in an interactive and creative environment. Each workshop will then have an artistic element where families will work together to make their own puppet or shadow theatre. Families will then use their puppets to learn some storytelling techniques and create a mini performance using their creation. At the end of the workshop, families are invited to take their creations home to continue playing and creating.

Christmas craft activities

What will the course cover?

Parents and their children can get a head start by making christmas cards and gift wrappers for school friends and teachers and also prepare decorative paper chains for that all important christmas tree.
