A mix of stretching, cardio, and resistance training designed to help you get back into a fitness routine
Anyone who wants to improve their fitness, have fun and a space to feel welcome.
No previous experience is necessary. But, please check with your GP before commencing if you have any new or old injuries.
By the end of the course, you should see an increase in muscle strength, and an improvement in your physical health.
By developing a class structure that includes a warm-up, a main exercise segment tailored to the goals (strength, cardio, flexibility), and a cool-down. Use variety in routines to maintain engagement and cater to different fitness levels. Regularly update classes to keep them fresh and challenging.
Accumulate (2 ½ to 5 hours) of moderate intensity physical activity or (1 ¼ to 2 ½ hours) of vigorous intensity physical activity, or an equivalent combination of both moderate and vigorous activities, each week. Do muscle strengthening activities on at least 2 days each week..
You will be assessed on a weekly basis by the tutor in your ability to perform certain exercises – technique, endurance and agility.
The confidence to join other classes or maybe join a gym.
Throughout the course you will be supported by the tutor.
