The course will cover a variety of chair exercises including arms, legs, heels, toes etc.
This course is for all adult learners wishing to learn how to exercise by using chair based exercises. This course enables learners, who have mobility restrictions to still benefit from physical activity and exercise. Chair exercises are a way to get physically fit and strengthen certain areas of the body that may benefit people with mobility problems.

You should be able to use the exercises learnt on the course to help keep you fit & healthy.
The course takes place on a Monday eveninng over 10 weeks.
The tutor will advise.
Your progress will be assessed by the teacher through chair based exercises.
You can join other similar fitness courses.
No costs. Please wear comfortable clothes , shoes & bring a bottle of water.
If you require support to enrol onto the course, your tutor will be able to assist you with this. Please ask when you first attend. Help with literacy and numeracy is available through the basic education programme and the Esol programme offers help for speakers of other languages. Additional support can be provided for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. Open learning is available at Macbeth.
