Do you need some information, advice or guidance? (IAG)
The Adult Learning and Skills reception team can provide you with support and advice on all our courses as well as providing information on other services offered by the Council and our partners.
If you require specific subject advice, you may be put in touch with the relevant member of curriculum staff. Tutors can also be contacted beforehand, to discuss whether a course/level is suitable.
The wide range of support we offer include the following:
- Learner & study support *
- One-to-one employment support for Hammersmith and Fulham residents via h&f Works every Tuesday (10am to 3pm) at the Macbeth Centre *
- Volunteering opportunities via the Volunteer Centre every Tuesday (11am to 1pm) at the Macbeth Centre *
- Exam access arrangements

Exam Access information
Exam access arrangements are reasonable adjustments that can be made for learners who might need extra time to complete an exam paper, enlarged papers or supervised rest breaks. Children’s Homework Club
As part of our course offers, our Family Learning division offer a variety of homework clubs at different locations around the borough. You can see a full list of offers on our Homework Clubs page.

Health & Wellbeing
Health & Wellbeing courses include the over 50’s Agewell programme where you will find a range of exercise/rehabilitation/and other courses such as singing and painting at a reasonable cost to enable you to keep your body and mind healthy and alert.
Other Health & Wellbeing courses are available as part of our main community learning offer in Arts, Crafts and Performing Arts eg. Ballroom dancing, Learn to play the Piano or Guitar or join a range of visual Arts and Crafts courses ranging from Portraiture to Furniture restoration.
Business Support
We offer a range of business courses at the Macbeth Centre with details advertised online, in centre and on eventbrite.
The H&F Business Enterprise Club meets monthly and is also the ideal place to network and get useful information to help you set up or run your own business.
