Saturday Family learning workshops

Spend time being in nature, learning how to play the piano or take part in creative play and storytelling at one of our Family Learning Saturday sessions.

Suitable for children aged 12 and under and must be accompanied by a parent or carer at all times during the workshops. 

Workshop sessions

Introduction to piano

A 5 week family course to introduce parents and children to the joys of learning and playing the piano. All ages but suggested minimum age 6.

Family flower workshop

Make your own mini flower press, use the pressed flowers to make flower cards & bookmarks, and learn about flower seed sowing

Creative play: The storytelling machine!

These workshops are a fun, imaginative space for young children to play and create stories with their families. 

• Date: Saturday 15 June or 6 July

Family ESOL walk and talk

This is a 4 week course intended for families with children under 8 to socialise and meet new people, whilst exploring new parks and play areas and practising their English.

Wildlife adventures 

Make bird feeders and seed balls, and try pond dipping
