Adult Learning and Skills Service
At the end of January, our adult learning service underwent a successful Ofsted inspection and maintained our “Good” grade overall.
The Ofsted Inspectors noted, in a very positive report that:
“Learners have a positive attitude to their studies. They are keen to develop their knowledge and skills, they enjoy their learning and are motivated to learn more and develop the confidence and resilience they need to participate ably in community life. Learners take pride in their work and staff create a very positive culture to celebrate their achievements.”
“Leaders and managers create valuable opportunities for adults who are furthest from learning and work, to engage in education... and progress in their lives.”

The “Good” grade at inspection, following the recent pandemic and the current cost of living crisis, is a testament to the hard work and dedication of all our Adult Learning staff, who continually support our learners to progress and achieve.
